Ligue 1 side PSG confirmed earlier today that the decision to leave Argentinian midfielder Leandro Paredes out of their 21-man travelling squad to face Dortmund in the Champions’ League tomorrow was a tactical one, according to RMC.

However, Foot Mercato report that this move from Thomas Tuchel was not quite as simple as that. Paredes felt pain after the match against Amiens. The German then did not want to wait to see the outcome of medical checks on the player and decisively acted to leave him at home in Paris.

The player himself felt ready to play vs Dortmund.
