The reason Vince McMahon was apparently not at The WWE Extreme Rules PPV Event is because he always takes a week off around mid-July and he has been doing this for several years now. There were some implications that McMahon’s absence was related to Hulk Hogan’s reinstatement but it appears that is not the case at all.
Despite internet rumors saying that Daniel Bryan first signed a two-year contract and then a two-month extension, Bryan hasn’t signed anything yet but has strongly hinted that he would be inking some sort of deal to stay with WWE. The company is already advertising him for shows that take place beyond the expiry date of his current contract. So it will be interesting to see if and when Daniel Bryan does sign a new contract with The WWE.
