UFC President Dana White confirmed earlier this week that Brock Lesnar will indeed be coming back to UFC for another fight very soon. This does seem to confirm that the Universal Champion will be finishing up his time with WWE after WrestleMania this Sunday, which leaves the status of his advocate, Paul Heyman up in the air. USA Today recently had the chance to interview Heyman, and a few details on his future with the company were revealed in the process. Heyman acknowledged that Lesnar could very wll be leaving WWE soon and that he himself has a few projects outside the company that he is working on, leaving him to simply state, “I don’t know yet, and I’m very comfortable with that because it just allows us to laser-focus on putting together the greatest main event possible for this year’s WrestleMania.”
A number of different superstars who have been on the shelf with an injury are scheduled to return very soon. One of those individuals is Big Cass, who WWE had been attempting to push before he received an injury that took him out of action for months. Big Cass is reportedly ready to come back at any time now, and Ringside News has just noted that WWE recently filed trademarks for the name “Colin Cassady.” This name was previously used by the wrestler before it was changed to Big Cass. With WWE looking to disassociate themselves from Enzo Amore, it is possible that WWE could go back to referring to Cass by his old name rather than the one that Amore coined for him.
WWE is reportedly in the process of shooting a ton of new material for the WWE Network over WrestleMania weekend. Future WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett recently revealed that he was invited by the company to appear on an episode of Table for 3, but it looks like another episode is currently in the works at the moment. Smackdown’s Natalya took to Twitter recently to reveal that she was just about ready to being filming a new episode of the WWE Network series featuring herself, Nia Jax, and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix. It is not clear when this episode will be finished and ready to be added to the network, but fans can look forward to watching it very soon.
