Friday’s WWE Smackdown drew their lowest ever non-holiday overnight viewership since the show moved to Fox, averaging 1.884 million viewers — down 11.4% from last week.
The show averaged 1.905 million viewers in hour one and dropped 2% in the second hour to 1.862 million viewers.The only other week viewership was lower was on July 3, a holiday weekend. It was the lowest viewed show on network TV with Dateline NBC having the next smallest audience at 2.65 million.
SmackDown averaged a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 16.7% from what it has done the last few weeks. That tied several other network shows for third place, but was the lowest the show has done since July.
In 18-34, SmackDown averaged the same 0.3 rating it has done the last several weeks, tying three other programs for the top spot on the networks.
Year over year, the show was down 24.1% from the overnight viewership on the same week last year: down 28.6% in 18-49 and 33.3% in 18-34.
