LOUISVILLE, Ky. –  UCLA picked up four non-conference victories to remain No. 1 in this week’s USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Bruins (44-3) received 30 first-place votes and 797 points after victories over then-No. 25 Oklahoma State and North Dakota.

No. 2 Oregon picked up one first-place vote after sweeping Pac-12 rival and then No. 4 Washington (7-2, 4-2, 5-2) in Seattle over the weekend. Following the three wins, the Ducks (41-7) moved into a tie for first place in the league with the top-ranked Bruins.

No. 3 Oklahoma (44-3), which also picked up one first-place vote, swept Texas (6-0, 7-1, 5-4 in 8 inn.) at home, while No. 4 Florida moved up a spot after a 3-1 week which saw the Gators top then-No. 8 Florida State (5-1) and take two-of-three from No. 13 LSU (7-0, 0-3, 5-3).

No. 5 Georgia (42-8) collected an SEC series win over No. 18 Alabama (5-3, 4-3, 4-7). Washington (41-8) slipped to No. 6 and Tennessee fell one spot to No. 7. The Lady Vols (42-10) had a 2-2 week, dropping games to Alabama and No. 20 Kentucky, before bouncing back with two wins over the Wildcats (29-17).

No. 8 Arizona State and No. 9 Texas A&M climbed into the No. 8 and 9 spots, while Arizona remained at No. 10. The Sun Devils (38-9) swept a Pac-12 road series from Utah and the Aggies (40-12) swept then-No. 12 Auburn in SEC play. The Wildcats (35-13) enjoyed a 4-0 week which included a sweep of RV Oregon State at home.

No. 22 James Madison (37-10) and No. 24 California return to the rankings. Both squads are coming off 4-0 weeks, which included conference sweeps of then-No. 24 Hofstra and Stanford, respectively. The Pride (35-11) and Oklahoma State (36-16) dropped out.
