At the WWE Fastlane 2019 pay-per-view on Sunday night, the stage was set for what is expected to be a historic main event at WrestleMania 35 next month.
With an assist from a surprise run-in by Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch managed to get her hand raised in her important showdown against Charlotte Flair at Sunday night’s final PPV stop on the road to this year’s WrestleMania.
The ending sequence of the match saw Charlotte lock Lynch’s injured knee in her submission finisher, only for “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey to appear out of nowhere, deck “The Man” and get in referee Charles Robinson’s face until he called for the bell, giving Lynch the win via disqualification.
Per the stipulation of the match, “The Man” has now officially been added to the mix in the RAW Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 35, which now features Rousey vs. Charlotte vs. Lynch in a Triple-Threat Match.
