According to a report by Dave Meltzer, a former WWE Mae Young Classic competitor is set to be signing with WWE in the near future.

Top UK wrestler, Viper (a.k.a Piper Niven in the Mae Young Classic), is soon to be a free agent when her World Of Sport contract comes to an end and it appears that a bidding war is set to take place for her services.

According to Meltzer, All Elite Wrestling had hoped to secure Viper to its roster, but the Wrestling Observer reporter instead believes she will join WWE.

Viper had taken part in the original Mae Young Classic and could make a solid addition to the NXT UK women’s division.

“I know that [AEW] is recruiting and trying to get women from all over. I know Viper was on their list. When her contract is up she’s probably going to WWE, not All Elite so that’s a get for WWE.”
