Hakim Ziyech is undergoing his medical ahead of a prospective loan move to Paris Saint-Germain, according to L’Équipe, although the Moroccan international’s loan move from Chelsea is yet to be finalised.

The 29-year-old is set to make the move to the French capital amid dwindling playing time in West London, and as PSG look to bring in an attacking midfielder who can play out wide as as a replacement for Pablo Sarabia, who left earlier this month for Wolves.

Ziyech, who is under contract with Chelsea until 2025, is now nearing a loan move to the Ligue 1 leaders, with the deal reportedly excluding any permanent option. The former Ajax man emerged as an option following PSG’s attempts to sign Lyon prospect Rayan Cherki, while ex-Bordeaux winger Malcom was also a target, the Zenit man having been open to the move – but FFP restraints have limited the club’s possibilities for spending this month.
