Matt Hardy completely reinvented himself with the creation of the “Broken Universe” back in 2016. Impact Wrestling fans got to see that universe expand every single week as Hardy filmed videos from his home with his wife, his son, and other close acquaintances who helped make the “Broken” gimmick so much fun to watch. Although the concept was resurrected when “Woken” Matt Hardy was introduced in WWE, the old “Broken Universe” has largely remained dormant. WWE showed with the “Ultimate Deletion” special earlier this year that they have all of the tools to recreate the magic that Hardy created during his time with Impact, and it has now been confirmed that they will be trying again with a new Halloween special.
After it was reported earlier this week that WWE cameras would soon be rolling on a new “Broken/Woken Universe” special in time for Halloween this year, Hardy has now seemingly confirmed that those plans are in place and that shooting has begun. Hardy tweeted out a photo showing that Jeremy Borash, a producer who played a key role in the original videos that aired on Impact, will be involved in the project. He also released an image of his “platoon,” which confirms that Reby Hardy, King Maxel, Wolfgang, Senor Benjamin, and Brother Nero will be coming back as well. No word on a premiere date as of yet, but the original Pro Wrestling Sheet report claimed that this special will also serve as the pilot for a potential WWE Network series.

As reported yesterday, Nicole Matthews has been allegedly been banned from entering the United States for the next five years. No specifics as to why she may have received the ban have been reported yet, but the Canadian wrestler recently took the time to address the matter on Twitter. Matthews has assured her fans that she will be alright despite the apparent predicament that she currently finds herself in. Matthews is currently competing in the Mae Young Classic tournament for WWE. She made her in-ring debut during this week’s episode by defeating Isla Dawn. Since Nicole Matthews’ matches in the tournament were taped several weeks ago, they will still be airing as originally scheduled.

Timing, eh?
I’ll be fine, everyone. That’s all I’m going to say about the elephant in the room.
