The family of Matt Hardy and Impact Wrestling were once good friends who became bitter enemies after Hardy returned to WWE last year. The problems came as a result of Impact President Ed Nordholm refusing to give Matt the rights to his “Broken” character. While traveling, Matt Hardy confirmed that he and Nordholm recently buried the hatchet. Pro Wrestling Sheet later reported that both sides have indeed worked out an agreement which will allow Matt and Jeff Hardy to use the “Broken” gimmick in any promotion without the fear of a lawsuit. After several months of feuding, it looks like the feud between Impact and the Hardys is officially over.

Chris Jericho does not appear to be joining this year’s Royal Rumble match due to his touring schedule with his band Fozzy, and because he is also working more matches for New Japan Pro Wrestling this year. After losing to Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 12, the promotion already seems to be teasing a possible match between Jericho and Tetsuya Naito. Rumors of another New Japan match featuring the former WWE Champion have arisen. According to Justin Barrasso’s latest ‘Week in Wrestling’ feature on Sports Illustrated, one opponent that Jericho definitely would like to face after his feud with Naito comes to an end is IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada.

Cody Rhodes surprised quite a number of fans a few months back when he confirmed that he has been planning and self-financing plans for a future independent wrestling event in a building that can hold at least 10,000 people. After weeks of speculation, the name and date of the groundbreaking show has officially been revealed. Rhodes and the Young Bucks took to Twitter recently to confirm that “All In” will be taking place on September 1st. No official location for the event has been confirmed as of yet, but it is still rumored that it could be emanating from somewhere in Chicago or Los Angeles.
