The argentinian coach Javier Weber accepted the World League fail in the most popular newspaper of the country, Clarín: “This is a total fail”.

“I am the maximum responsible. As I love winning and I enjoy victories, now I must to look forward and say that my players did whatever I asked”.
 
However he feels bad in this present with 14 consecutive defeats, he hope to recuperate the confidence of the team to correct the way in the World Cup in September: “With this results, I can´t say nothing but Argentina plays better than today. I don´t know if it is much better but my experience tells me that is more than what we did in World League. You can be in the 20º step of the ranking but if you have luck in one or more matches you can be 5º or 6º”
 
“I have a total compromise as usually and I want to see Argentina between the six better teams of the world. I am working on it”, he affirmed.
 
Hugo Conte, one of the most popular ex players of the country and actually coach in Italy, explained that the national team staff are in a “mental tunnel where they going to get out working harder than today and giving time to the younger players as De Cecco (who was born in 1988), my son Facundo (89) or Pereyra (88)”.
 
Then he compared the national volleyball team performance with the soccer one:  “Who said that Argentina must fight to be World champion? Our mistake is to believe that as we have good individualities; if we put it all in a team we can get a cup. In both sports, the most important thing is the team”.
 
Conte was team mate of Weber in the National squad for many years and said that he knows that Argentina don´t has 2,10 meters middle blockers like Russia has, but if Gabriel Arroyo (1,94) spike faster and work on combinations, can surprise rivals. Our future is hopeful, and better than Italy, because we have great younger players that also beat Russian and Poland teams. “I am optimist for the future but before we success we may suffer a bit”.
