More than a year has passed since Lily-Rose Depp first became a Chanel brand ambassador and on Thursday the 17-year-old model looked every bit the Chanel muse on the black carpet at an L.A. dinner celebrating the brand’s new fragrance, No.5 L’eau.

Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp’s daughter, who stars in the scent’s new ad campaign, bared her toned abs and struck fierce poses in a multicolored sequined, embroidered cropped Chanel jacket, black leather pants complete with a silver chain belt, black leather skinny pants and black, silver Chanel heels, and a Chanel Ruban ring in 18K white gold, diamonds, and pink beryl.

At the Sunset Tower Hotel where the event was held, Lily-Rose told InStyle that even though her jacket went with a dress, “she thought it would be cool as a top,” given her affinity for crop tops.

As for how she feels to be considered Chanel’s new muse and carry on her mother’s legacy (Paradis has starred in Chanel campaigns for years), Lily-Rose told us, “It’s amazing. I never, never imagined that this would happen, especially at my age and everything and just starting out. So it’s really surreal, and I’m just really honored.”

The Yoga Hosers actress was also thrilled about her new Chanel campaign, and described the perfume as “a modern twist on an iconic, classic fragrance.” She added: “It smells a little bit like the old one, but a bit of like a lighter, fresher, younger scent.”

Milla Jovovich (below), who has also starred in Chanel campaigns, attended the fête with her husband Paul W.S. Anderson at her side and in a black satin Chanel blouse, patterned Chanel jeans, an off-white Chanel tweed coat, and black and silver Chanel shoes. Before heading inside to enjoy a glass of champagne, the model-actress gushed about the fashion house. “It’s nice to be here in Los Angeles and celebrate Chanel,” she told us. “Usually we do that in Paris, so we’re bringing a little European flavor to the city.”

As the cocktail hour kicked off before the dinner, Pharrell (below) and his visibly pregnant wife, Helen Lasichanh, made a dashing pair as they chatted with Lily-Rose and Chanel perfumer Olivier Polge, who created the perfume. Lasichanh was glowing in a baby bump-hugging Chanel multicolor, printed cotton dress and matching accessories while Pharrell looked casual-cool in an off-white braided Chanel fedora, a Chanel multicolor printed crepe de chine jacket and pants, and a white and turquoise printed cotton shirt.

Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart (below) grabbed a cocktail, fingered through her blonde pixie cut, and caught up with friends in a Chanel gray cotton cropped sweater, high-waist black trousers, and black pointed heels. In addition to the Café Society star, there were also plenty of other starlets and celebrity offspring on hand to celebrate the launch and Lily-Rose’s campaign.

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s 17-year-old daughter, Ava Phillippe (below), strolled through the bash with friends, looking just like her Oscar-winning mom in a Chanel khaki cotton top, multicolor tweed shorts, black heels, and a sparkly, sequined Chanel clutch in her hands. Meanwhile, Andie MacDowell’s 26-year-old daughter, Rainey Qualley, mixed and mingled in a white Chanel top, black leather shorts, and a silver sequined clutch, and Rowan Blanchard posed with friends at the photo booth in a Chanel tweed jumpsuit.

Once cocktail hour was over and guests had their fill of bites like stuffed artichokes and tuna tartare, guests like Rachel Zoe and her good friend, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, walked over to the stunning dining area and took their seats with smiles at white-clothed tables topped with white flowers, and tall, glass votive vases filled with glowing white candles.
