Fabrizio Romano reports that Ligue 1 side Marseille are in advanced talks to sign 26-year-old Spanish goalkeeper Pau Lopez on loan with a €15m option to buy from AS Roma.
OM President Longoria is seeking to prepare for life without Steve Mandanda, who turns 37 this coming season.
During conversations between Roma and Marseille, 23-year-old Turkish international winger Cengiz Ünder has also been mentioned, who is coming back from a loan spell with Leicester. The Italian side are open and even keen to offload the player, but would likely seek a sale and OM’s finances are not expected to permit that to them in any case.
