LOUISVILLE, Ky. –The NFCA is proud to announce its partnership with the European Softball Coaches Association (ESCA) on an international membership growth initiative. It will be a joint membership between the two organizations with the NFCA providing educational benefits for European softball coaches to help grow the game worldwide.
“The NFCA is proud to serve not only passionate softball coaches in the USA, but also worldwide,” said NFCA Executive Director Carol Bruggeman. “Expanding awareness and growing the game throughout the world starts with educating coaches. We are excited to provide educational resources to our coaching friends in Europe and look forward to working with the European Softball Federation (ESF) to help enhance our sport. I would also like to thank Craig Montvidas and Ami Baran for their leadership in this initiative.”
The initiative was launched at the ESF Congress in Athens, Greece on Feb. 1-3, 2019. New members will receive several benefits, including our Fastpitch Delivery newspaper, Fastpitch Connected newsletter, NFCA quarterly webinar access, NFCA Convention registration discount and access to the NFCA Drills Database.
“It is an honor to partner with the NFCA, who will lend its expertise in assisting the ESF to help improve the quality of coaching throughout Europe by sharing many of its instructional tools,” said Gabriel Waage, President of ESF. “The ESCA slogan of ‘getting better together’ whereby European coaches share their knowledge with one another will certainly feel the positive impulse that the NFCA will provide.”
