Hello internet! We are excited to announce that IGN’s 2019 paid internship programs are now accepting applications! For the past eight years, IGN has run a paid internship called Code Foo for aspiring web developers. This year we’re changing things up a bit. In addition to Engineering, we will also be offering paid internship programs for Product Management and Design! Each program will run in tandem for eight weeks. We’re looking for impassioned coders, designers, and product managers to learn and work alongside us on projects that are seen by millions of people.
Our goal is to provide you with an opportunity to obtain real world experience, as well as to cultivate your own growth in your prospective area. We don’t require a resume; we just want to see what you can do! For this reason we recommend individuals of all skill levels and experience to apply. The program runs from June 17th, to August 16th. It is open to those eligible to work in the US. Travel and lodging are not included as part of the internships. Applications must be submitted by the end of day on Sunday, March 24th, 2019 (11:59pm PST).
At IGN we celebrate all things gaming and pop culture, which means you’ll get to hang out with many individuals who are passionate about about those very things. You’ll often find us spending time after work playing games, nerding out over the latest breaking news, or discussing the latest plot twists in our favorite shows over lunch. This isn’t your average workplace. You won’t find any cubicles here. Take a look at what a day in the office is really like.
