WWE will be coming back to Madison Square Garden for a live event later on tonight. The show is a Raw live event, which will feature the return of John Cena, several names and faces from the Raw roster, and one 10-man tag team match featuring some of the best NXT talent today. Ricochet, Pete Dunne, Aleister Black, Matt Riddle, and The Velveteen Dream will take on The Undisputed Era and Tommaso Ciampa this evening. For a lot of the talent involved, this will be their first time competing in the world famous arena. NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa commented on the honor earlier today, as did Aleister Black and Adam Cole. These men will all be in action during WWE’s return to MSG in New York City later on tonight.

PCO and Brody King have both made their debuts in Ring of Honor, but there are several more names who are on their way to the promotion very soon. ROH has announced this month that Mark Haskins, Shane Taylor, Bandido, and more have all signed full time exclusive deals, and they are all coming in early 2019. A lot of those stars have just been announced for some upcoming ROH shows. ROH confirmed today that Haskins, Bandido, King, and PCO will all be appearing at the upcoming television tapings in Atlanta, Georgia on January 12th, and in Concord, North Carolina the following day. On January 24th, they’ll be in Dallas, then Houston on the 25th, San Antonio on the 26th, Lakeland, Fl on February 9th, and Miami the next night. The four of them will also be on ROH’s 17th anniversary show in Las Vegas on Match 15th, and the tapings in the same city the next night.
A lot of NXT Superstars have been competing on shows for EVOLVE Wrestling as of late, but could WWE Superstar John Cena be on his way in soon? EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory called out the 16-time world champion not too long ago, and with Cena set to make his in-ring return during a WWE live event later on tonight, fans know that he is still willing to compete despite his busy schedule away from the wrestling world this year. In true John Cena fashion, he responded to Theory’s challenge by posting an image of the EVOLVE star on his Instagram account. Theory has since uploaded an image of Cena on his own social media account. While an appearance from Cena at an EVOLVE show sounds unlikely, maybe this feud will lead to Cena coming in for a match or two at some point in the future.
