Metz have completed the signing of Argentinian midfielder Geronimo Poblete on a four-year-deal.

Poblete is the fourth player to join Metz this summer window, joining the likes of Ibrahima Niane, Moussa Niakhate and Quentin Beunardeau at the club. The 24-year-old will add a lot of creativity into the Metz midfield, something the club has been actively searching for.

The Argentine player has spent his whole career with Club Atletico Colon, making his first professional appearance in 2014 against Argentinos Juniors. The former captain of the club soon established himself as an indispensible star and will be looking for more of the same in Ligue 1.
