Martin Braithwaite has arrived in Middlesbrough ahead of proposed £10m switch from Toulouse.
The Danish international completed his medical at ‘Boro on Thursday and was shown around the club’s facilities ahead of his proposed four-year transfer to Garry Monk’s side. Braithwaite will earn around €2m a year, a main motivation for the move.

Braithwaite is a versatile forward, who can play anywhere across the front-line. He moved to Toulouse from Danish club Esbjerg fB in 2013 and has gone on to make over 150 appearances for ‘Les Pitchouns.’
The 26-year-old has mainly been utilised as a number nine or on the left flank in his time in France, scoring 40 goals in his four seasons there. He will become ‘Boro’s 3rd summer signing after the recent acquisitions of Jonny Howson and Cyrus Christie from Norwich City and Derby County respectively.
