Le Parisien report tonight that Paris Saint-Germain have rejected Real Madrid’s second bid for striker Kylian Mbappé. The La Liga side had formulated a €170m + €10m in bonuses offer to the Parisians, after their initial €160m bid was turned down.

L’Équipe report that PSG are waiting to see another offer come in, and in the meantime Director of Sport Leonardo has singled out Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland as the Frenchman’s potential replacement.

Although Dortmund have no intention of letting go of their Norwegian forward, the rapport between Leonardo and Mino Raiola – Haaland’s representative – could facilitate a future transfer. In any case, the former Salzburg man is in PSG’s shortlist, and reportedly has a release clause in the region of €75m-€100m in his contract for next summer.

Real Madrid are confident of signing the World Cup winner and are working at all levels of the club to finalise the arrival of a new Galáctico – Mbappé nevertheless went to training as usual today and has no intention of clashing against the club.
