According to L’Équipe, Paris Saint-Germain have been threatened by the league governing body, the LFP, who will examine various incidents during Sunday’s Le Classique. PSG ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a Neymar goal, but OM performed well and threatened themselves during a feisty affair at the Parc des Princes.

The Disciplinary Committee of the French football league (LFP) will examine, on Wednesday 26 October, the incidents of PSG-OM, with notably dozens of smoke bombs and an insulting banner for Marseille.

In the end, PSG could be sanctioned with the closure of a stand or a part of it and a heavy fine. If the Parisian club proves its ability to react to the offenders, this partial closure sanction could be suspended.

The PSG case will be dealt with on Wednesday, October 26 by the LFP Disciplinary Committee. For the police of the grounds, a delay of ten days is necessary. This explains why the commission will not deal with it at its next meeting, this Wednesday.
