Rey Mysterio recently made a shocking return to WWE during the Royal Rumble match. Although it is being said that it was merely a one-time appearance, fans speculate that Mysterio will re-sign with the company eventually. In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the door is now open for Mysterio to rejoin WWE. His contract with Lucha Underground has ended, and he reportedly decided against joining Impact Wrestling once his planned main event spot against Alberto El Patron at the upcoming Redemption pay-per-view was given to Austin Aries. WWE reportedly wants to bring Mysterio back to the company full-time. For now, Mysterio still has numerous commitments to fulfill.
WrestleMania 34 will air on the WWE Network from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on April 8th. Several fans have already begun putting together their ideal card for the event, but the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported on several matches that are currently penciled in for the show. Similarly, the Observer has also reported on the matches that are expected to take place at the NXT Takeover event the night before this year’s WrestleMania. These matches could obviously change, or more could be added, as the weeks go by, but as of now, these are the matches that are currently scheduled to take place at WrestleMania and Takeover this year:

– Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Championship
– John Cena vs. The Undertaker
– Ronda Rousey and a partner (rumored to be Kurt Angle or The Rock) vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
– Jason Jordan vs. Seth Rollins

– Braun Strowman vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship
– Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship
– Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship

– The finals of the Cruiserweight Championship tournament
– The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
As for NXT Takeover, the card appears as follows:
