The “Superstar Shakeup” will be taking place on Raw next week, and many trades are rumored to be taking place. Dave Meltzer reports that at one point Roman Reigns was scheduled to make the jump from Raw to Smackdown, but he noted that that now appears to be off the table. However, he does note that AJ Styles will almost certainly be moving to Raw.
In additional news, he has heard rumors of the New Day, Charlotte, Alexa Bliss and others all possibly moving to different shows. As far as surprises go, Meltzer speculated that Andrade “Cien” Almas and “The Drifter” Elias Samson will be moving up to the main roster soon and could be part of this shakeup.
With a number of stars all returning, leaving, taking time off, etc., it will be interesting to see how this shakeup will attempt to balance the rosters on each show. No news on if recent debuting stars such as Shinsuke Nakamura or Tye Dillinger are expected to already move, but those stars would likely stay on their current brand.
