• Simon Gotch reportedly had an incident in catering at the 4/4 Smackdown, just one day before his release from WWE. The report states that he accidentally tipped over his chair, got upset when he fell down and made a scene in front of everyone.

  • However, this does not appear to be related to his release because later that night, it was his tag team partner Aiden English who got pinned in the match against the American Alpha. The belief is that if his release was decided upon from before, WWE would have definitely had him do the job.
