According to RMC, Marseille President Vincent Labrune decided to travel to Braga on Thursday for OM’s match against them in the Europa League in a rather curious way.

Labrune took a commercial flight just a couple of hours before kick-off from Marseille to Porto, with Ryanair.

Now the majority of the arrangements for the OM fans in terms of traveling to Braga had been made using coaches, but there were still several Marseille fans on board the same flight as Labrune.

The President was asked for photos and was also goaded by fans with things like: “Rolando? What’s is this? What is this player?” and “Allow me to sign a contract President! If De Ceglie has a place then I can play football again!” 

The media outlet claims that Labrune actually enjoyed rubbing shoulders with the OM fans by travelling to the match in this way, but perhaps he is fortunate to have done so only on the trip there, rather than the trip back!
