The Intercontinental Champ The Miz and former Raw Tag Team Champs Sheamus and Cesaro teamed up for a Shield-style power bomb of Roman Reigns at one point of Raw from the Pepsi Center in Denver in a show which did not go well for the former Hounds of Justice.
 

After Raw kicked off with Braun Strowman dishing out a physical beating of Raw Tag Champ Seth Rollins in a singles match, Dean Ambrose attempted to come to the rescue of his partner, but Strowman nailed the other half of the Raw Tag Champs with a running power slam. Cesaro and Sheamus then came to the ring and picked the bones of the champs, hitting Ambrose with a Neutralizer and Rollins with a Brogue Kick.
Later on in the show, Reigns fell victim to The Miz and The Bar, winning the Intercontinental Championship via disqualification but seeing Miz retain his belt with the champion’s advantage.

After the show, Miz and The Bar gloated over their handiwork, but everyone is expecting next week’s show to unveil the full Shield reunion with Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins finally all working together again.
