After a week of releases from WWE, another departure seems to have taken place recently. It has been reported by PWInsider that the winner of the most recent season of WWE’s Tough Enough reality show, Josh Bredl, has been released from the company. After winning Tough Enough, he began training at the Performance Center, but he has not been training there for the past several weeks due to concussion-related issues. Bredl was reported to have been released earlier this year, but those reports turned out to be false. This time, Bredl does appear to be gone from WWE. He previously competed at NXT live events under the ring name Bronson Matthews
Starrcade was one of the most historic wrestling events of the year back when it was being produced by WCW. When WWE announced that they would be resurrecting the event as a live event this month, fans were puzzled as to why the company would choose not to air the show on the WWE Network. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the company will not be airing the show on the network because they feel that the expense to air the show will simply not be worth it. Meltzer also claimed that WWE does not believe that the show will do anything to boost their subscriber numbers for the network, so they have decided not to air the show altogether.
It was reported last week that Smackdown star Sin Cara had signed a new multi-year deal with WWE. He has had a ton of good luck on television as of late as well, as evidenced by the fact that he has picked up a few wins over the United States Champion Baron Corbin. Unfortunately, bad luck has just stricken the wrestler. In a match involving Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin at a live event in Madrid, Spain, Sin Cara ducked a clotheslines from Baron Corbin, but he seemed to land awkwardly and clutch his leg. WWE has yet to release an official statement on the status of Sin Cara’s injury, but hopefully one will be provided shortly.
