The seemingly random duo of Carmella and Naomi gained major ground heading into Sunday’s highly anticipated WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, scoring the victory in a triple threat tag team match over both The IIconics and the former Absolution members, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

With Mandy taking the pin following a split-leg moonsault from Naomi, the so-called team of “Fire & Desire” will be forced to start the six-team Elimination Chamber match to crown the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. They will enter the match from the #2 position facing off against Bayley and Sasha Banks, who found themselves on the losing end of their own triple threat match this Monday night on RAW.

As previously reported, Banks is currently dealing with an undisclosed injury and WWE.com ran a storyline post claiming that she “re-aggravated a shoulder injury” during the bout, so her status for the show may be questionable.
