— Several sources have sent in word that WWE laid off close to 10% of their office staff at corporate headquarters in Stamford, CT this morning. There were layoffs from the television, WWE.com and office divisions with more releases expected for tomorrow. The reason for the layoffs is the economy.

— Pre-sale tickets are now availble for the 2009 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony in Houston, Texas. Tickets are availble at the Houston Toyota Center website (link) and the pre-sale password is “LEGEND”.

— Celebrity Championship Wrestling winner Dennis Rodman has signed on for the new season of Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice on NBC.

— ContactAnyCelebrity.com lists WWE World Heavyweight champion John Cena among their top 10 “Most Wanted Celebrities”.
