WWE RAW is live tonight from the Staples Center in Los Angeles with the Survivor Series fallout show. Here’s the latest from the WWE to get you ready for the show:
With RAW finishing with a clean 6-0 sweep of SmackDown, Braun Strowman will get exactly what he bargained for from Commissioner Stephanie McMahon….a Universal Championship shot and a chance to Get These Hands on Acting General Manager Baron Corbin for ruining his title shot at Crown Jewel. Also advertised, a possible revenge angle for Sasha Banks after Nia Jax got her eliminated from the Survivor Series match so she could be the sole survivor. Ronda Rousey will address the injuries she sustained from her match with Charlotte Flair and an upcoming title defense against Jax. Also, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will start the build for their Intercontinental Championship match at TLC.
RAW Opening Segment
Acting RAW General Manager Baron Corbin is in the ring, and he welcomes the crowd to the undisputed A-show. Last night was a history making night. Most of the credit goes to his boss, the commissioner of Monday Night RAW, Stephanie McMahon. McMahon makes her entrance. Corey Graves mentions that RAW did not sweep since Smackdown Live won on the Kickoff Show. McMahon brags about RAW’s clean sweep, which Graves literally just said was not a clean sweep. She says some credit goes to Baron Corbin, but the RAW family helped to decimate Smackdown. Her brother Shane McMahon has to cheat to win. RAW proved they are the best. McMahon says they’re going to celebrate tonight.
Corbin says we have an amazing night of action… after we take care of some housekeeping. Corbin reminds her that she made a promise that she’d consider making his position more permanent. McMahon says she did make some promises…
Braun Strowman’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. A loud “Get these hands” chant picks up. Strowman says he held up his end of the bargain, so now she has to hold up her end. Strowman wants a match against Corbin, who he labels a “slimeball.” McMahon says she did make a promise, and her word is her bond. Strowman says Corbin is going to “get these hands.” McMahon says if Corbin beats Strowman at WWE TLC, he’ll become the permanent General Manager. If he loses, he loses all authority. Strowman says he will lose authority because Corbin’s boss said he could pick the stipulation and not be held liable. McMahon says dismemberment is a corporate liability. Strowman asks about his WWE Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar. McMahon says he’ll get his match against Lesnar at the Royal Rumble… if he can beat Corbin. McMahon asks if he agrees. Strowman says, “Welcome to Monday Night Braun.” Strowman tells Corbin to enjoy being Acting General Manager because he gets to pick the stipulations. Strowman says Corbin will face him in a TLC match. That means Corbin will get these hands, tables, ladders, and chairs.
Corbin says that favors him. Since he’s still the Acting General Manager, he’s decided Strowman will face Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre in a handicap match tonight. McMahon says he needs to one up that and make it a six-man tag. It’ll be Lashley, McIntyre, and Corbin against Strowman, Elias, and Finn Balor. That match will start right now. We go to commercial.
Bobby Lashley w/ Lio Rush, Baron Corbin & Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman, Finn Balor & Elias
Elimination Match
Strowman and Corbin to start, circling, Baron tags McIntyre in and the two giants face off. Collar and elbow, Braun shoves him back and roars! Circling, Drew goes behind into a side headlock, shot off, shoulder lbock does nothing so he throws punches, whip across, big knee, chops, Strowman passes him into the corner but eats a boot. McIntyre with overhand punches only to get decked with a forearm!
The crowd wants Balor, Braun obliges them with a tag and slams him onto Drew! McIntyre returns a slam of his own, a boot on the apron, to the floor and he passes Finn into the barricade hard to send us to break.
Back from commercial, McIntyre snaps a vertical suplex off on Balor for two. Tag to Corbin, holding Finn in place for a stomp and Baron taunts Braun. Drawing Balor up, putting boots to him in the corner, tag to Lashley. Bob off the ropes, hard shoulder thrust for two and he grabs a reverse chinlock to follow. Balor fights to his feet and eats a slam as Lashley tags Corbin back in.
The Lone Wolf draws Finn up and eats forearms for his trouble, so close to the tag, Balor decks him with forearms, elbow up, clear the apron, leaping over and Corbin rams him hard into the corner! Charging at the tag again, Deep Six… NOPE! Tag back to Bob, Lio Rush cheering him from the floor as he hammer whips Finn hard into the corner. A second whip, up and over, Lashley catches him but Finn rolls through into a schoolboy for two!
Big lariat gets Bobby two, powerbomb lift, countered with elbows, reversed to a sunset flip, Balor rolls through, basement dropkick, the way is clear, tag to Elias! The Drifter comes in hot, whip into a charging lariat, putting boots to Lashley in the corner, warned off by referee John Cone. Whip reversed, up and over, pop up inverted dropkick, dump Baron to the floor and Bob attacks from behind!
Whip off, Elias holds onto the ropes and Balor tags himself in! Double clothesline sends Bob to the floor, Finn knocks Drew off the apron, fired up, off the ropes… TOPE CON GIRO! Back inside, Corbin with a distraction, McIntyre crotches Balor up top and tags in! Fired up, lining him up and Drew McIntrye eliminates Balor with a Claymore!
Drew McIntrye eliminates Finn Balor
We head back to break after the elimination.
Back from commercial, Lashley is in control on Elias and tags McIntyre in for boots in the corner. Tag to Corbin, continuing the assault as referee John Cone admonishes them and Bob tags in. Drew legal again, armbar takedown into a kneeling armbar, scraping the bones of his forearm across the Drifter’s face. Elias to his feet, out with boots, off the ropes for a front kick and McIntyre clocks him with a lariat for one!
Tag back to Lashley, he comes in with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex for two and tags Baron back in. Smashing the Drifter’s face into the turnbuckle but Elias blocks his punches and fires back his own only to get hammer whipped into the turnbuckles! Half nelson chinlock applied, Lashley runs interference and tries to take Braun out but only avoids a beating himself when Drew clobbers the monster off the apron!
Elias gets out, jumping knee connects but he’s got nobody to tag! Up top, diving elbow, Bob makes the save and dumps the Drifter to the floor! Elias gets distracted trying to beat Lio up and Lashley spears him halfway out of his boots! Referee John Cone counts, Bob breaks it around seven but the Drifter can’t get back in and is counted out.
Elias is eliminated by Count Out
We go to break again after the elimination. Back from commercial and McIntyre is putting boots to Strowman before dropping to meet him with grounded punches. Tag to Lashley, shoulder thrust, choking Braun over the middle rope before tagging Corbin in. Right hands, mocking Strowman’s call to get These Hands before putting boots to him more and hammering him with overhead elbows. Back to the half nelson chinlock, but Braun throws him off and bowls him over!
Clear the apron, freight train, Stinger splash into an overhand club! Strowman around the floor and rams into Big Bob. Baron with a boot up, but Braun catches him onto his shoulder, running powerslam. Drew McIntyre breaks it up….With a Chair Shot!
Drew McIntyre is Disqualified
Drew continues beating on Braun with the steel chair, knocking him clean out of the ring at one point before throwing the chair right at referee John Cone! He and Bob beat on the monster some more, ramming him into the barricade and the steel steps as Lio Rush directs traffic. Baron adds insult to injury but Braun recovers and goozles him only to get laid out with the Claymore!
Cone failing to restore order here, the match technically paused between eliminations as it is, and the heels throw Strowman into the steel steps! Corbin takes his belt off, they lash it to Braun’s wrist and stretch his arm across the steel of the steps! Baron raises the chair high before dropping it, he grabs the steps and smashes them into Braun’s forearm. The heels leave as Braun writhes in pain and is attended by medics and referees.
Winners: No Contest
A blood-spattered Strowman tells the medics he can’t feel his fingers.
A recap of Dean Ambrose’s promo where he burnt his Shield vest from last week follows, and commentary informs us that Seth Rollins will be up next.
Intercontinental Champ Seth Rollins Addresses TLC Match Against Dean Ambrose
WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring. Rollins says it’s been a great weekend with TakeOver and Survivor Series. It was also six years since The Shield debuted. After he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura last night, he reflected on the last six years. It’s made the situation with Dean Ambrose even more sickening. It’s only been four weeks since Ambrose turned on him and Roman. In that time, Ambrose hasn’t had the guts to explain why or get in the ring with him. In four weeks, Ambrose won’t have a choice at WWE TLC when he has a match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Rollins watched Ambrose light his Shield vest on fire and say The Shield was a burden. Ambrose said he was the same guy he’s always been. Rollins says he learned more from the Chronicle episode about Ambrose than he knew as his best friend. Rollins didn’t know Ambrose was in the hospital with an infection that almost killed him. Ambrose never called him. Ambrose said he loves WWE. That’s the first time he’s ever heard Ambrose say, “Love.” Rollins didn’t think he was capable of love. Rollins is feeling highly aggressive right now. If Ambrose loves WWE so much, he can prove it. Rollins is looking for a fight.
Dean Ambrose appears on the titantron. Ambrose says he’s not going to run out like a “lunatic” and give Rollins what he wants. People loved The Shield all over the world, but no one knows how they were when the cameras started rolling. They were rotten to the core from the beginning. They’ll have to pay for what they’ve done in different ways. Ambrose says they’re all going to get what they deserve. Look what happened to Roman… he has to answer to the man upstairs. What’s worse is Rollins has to answer to Ambrose. Ambrose tells Rollins to find him backstage, and he’ll tell him what happens next.
Rollins gets out of the ring and runs backstage. Rollins looks for Ambrose and shouts at him. Rollins questions security guards as to Ambrose’s whereabouts. The security guard tells Rollins to get out of his face. Rollins punches him and another guard down. Rollins continues to look for Ambrose.

Back from commercial, Seth Rollins is headed right for where we saw Dean Ambrose last.
He kicks the door in and enters the stairwell the Shield convened in and finds nothing. He turns around and “burn it down” is spraypainted on the door, which he hits a few more times for good measure.

Rollins says he’s been asking this for weeks but Ambrose will be asking himself why he turned his back when Rollins finally gets his hands on him.
