Final numbers are in for Friday’s post-WrestleMania 37 edition of SmackDown. The episode averaged 2.119 million viewers on Fox, down 5.8 percent from the previous week. It was the lowest viewership for SmackDown since March 19.

SmackDown finished last among the major networks in terms of total viewers. Everything else on the networks drew over 2.8 million viewers.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown drew a 0.56 rating, down 8.2 percent from the previous week. The show finished well behind last week’s Raw in that demo, which is the first time that’s happened in the same week since Raw Legends Night this January.

SmackDown finished tied for third among network programming in 18-49 on Friday night. The show beat everything else on cable for the night in that category.

In 18-34, SmackDown drew a 0.29 rating, down 21.6 percent from the previous week. The show usually finishes second in that category on TV, but it was fifth on the networks on Friday and also finished behind an NBA game on ESPN to rank sixth on television.

Year-over-year, SmackDown was down 3.1 percent in overall viewership. It was down 6.7 percent in 18-49 and 27.5 percent in 18-34, so the show skewed much older than it did this week in 2020.
