-The Bludgeon Brothers retained the Smackdown Tag Team titles vs The Usos and The Club.
-Andrade Cien Almas defeated Sin Cara.
-Asuka, Nikki Cross, and Naomi defeated The IIconics and Lana.
-Shinsuke Nakamura retained the U.S. Title vs. Jeff Hardy. Randy Orton attacked Hardy after the match.
-Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz. Both wrestlers cut promos before the match saying they were the better technical wrestler, and would tap the other out. Bryan was SUPER over as always.
-The New Day defeated The Bar.
-Becky Lynch defeated Carmella by DQ in a Smackdown Women’s Championship match. Carmella retains.
-AJ Styles defeated Rusev and Samoa Joe to retain the WWE Championship in a phenomenal Triple Threat match.
As we previously noted on the site, it’s being rumored that the WWE Title match at SummerSlam will be AJ Styles defending against Samoa Joe, and the two are scheduled to face each other at more upcoming live events.
