As previously reported, the “Monster Among Men” did in fact make an appearance at Sunday night’s WWE TLC pay-per-view, competing in his scheduled Tables, Ladders & Chairs match against Baron Corbin. Well, sort of…
While the recovering Strowman, who just recently had elbow surgery, did indeed show up for his match, he was in no shape to compete. Instead, he led members of the RAW roster including a returning WWE Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle, in a first class beatdown gaining a much-needed revenge on the “acting General Manager”.
With his victory, Braun Strowman has earned an opportunity to face the “Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship. That match will go down on Jan. 27th in Phoenix, at the annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
#RAW Superstars, referees, and even a @WWE Hall of Famer have A LOT of aggression to take out on @BaronCorbinWWE tonight! @BraunStrowman #WWETLC pic.twitter.com/inqjIs8iid
