According to a report by Dave Meltzer, the current run for Big Show in WWE is only expected to be a brief one, as he is filling a spot for the company.

The World’s Largest Athlete made a surprise return several weeks ago to help Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens in their fight against Seth Rollins and AOP. Since that point, he has remained alongside the duo battling against them.

However, according to Meltzer, he is only doing this as a favor as the third spot for that team is actually going to be given to Rey Mysterio in the near future.

Meltzer said: “Rey Mysterio is going to end up in that crew and you’ve got Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens and Big Show’s there for now. Big Show’s not there for long term…He was brought in as a favour to get through this period because they were down a man. So, I don’t know how long he’s going to be staying. It was not meant to be a long term thing.”
