Lance Archer had a career-changing year in 2019, following up an impressive showing in the annual New Japan Cup with a breakaway performance in the G1 Climax tournament.

It looks like the Suzuki-Gun star’s stock will continue to grow in 2020, as Sports Illustrated‘s Justin Barrasso reports that Archer is currently in “high-level talks” with All Elite Wrestling.

Archer recently dropped the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship to Jon Moxley in a tremendous Texas Death Match at Wrestle Kingdom 14. He will be competing at several stops along New Japan’s upcoming New Beginning USA tour.
