In the latest episode of The Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided further details on why WWE made the decision to release Arn Anderson this week.
The news came as a surprise to most wrestling fans, but it was apparently due to an incident at a recent live event, which according to Meltzer wasn’t well handled and Anderson took the full blame for it and was terminated.
According to the report, there had been several conflicts between Vince and Anderson with the two men not being on the best of terms prior to WWE’s decision to release him. However, Meltzer noted that Anderson was very well liked amongst several major names in WWE including Triple H and John Cena.
Meltzer added that Anderson was known for supporting the talent’s objection of bad ideas or pushing their own creativity, which is what possibly led to conflicts with Vince McMahon.
